The Klingon Assault Group Invades Rhode Island Comiccon!!!

November 3rd thru 6th 2022

ATTENTION WARRIORS!!! On November 3rd 2022 Lt. Commander Martok sutai-lungqlj Invaded RI comiccon representing KAG. On Thursday morning my daughter, her best friend and myself set up our base of operations along with The Borg Queen, her Regeneration Chamber, the Command Chair and a whole display of weapons and Klingon and Alien objects.

On Friday the 4th dressed in my TOS uniform and persona I began collecting donations for Hospice, conversing with the humans and recruiting new members. As the day progressed I was joined by Tom a Hospice volunteer as Santa Claus who stayed and helped with photo ops for the human children who were attending the event. Overall the 1st day of the event was very successful, Lots of people donated to Hospice and lots of photos were taken.

On Saturday the 5th I premiered a new persona. I donned my Orion Syndicate outfit and was joined by some volunteers who also got into character. My best friend’s daughter Christine joined me dressed as Osyraa of the Emerald Chain and her friend Kiley dressed as Elnor of the Qowat Milat and Emma a Hospice volunteer dressed as a TOS science officer and later in the day we were joined by Tracey another Hospice volunteer dressed as ready to party Jadzia Dax. It was a very long day but it was lots of fun we collected quite a few donations for Hospice did some recruiting and had lots of photos taken. After the event closed for the evening I went to the After Party still in my Orion persona with my daughter, but unfortunately we did not get any pictures so no points awarded for that.

On Sunday the 6th, the final day, I wore my signature Chancellor Martok outfit and my friend’s daughter Christine dressed up as ready to party Jadzia Dax. We pulled out all the stops and went all out getting donations from as many people as possible and recruiting and taking lots of photos. By the end of the day we were all exhausted but we were VICTORIOUS!!! We raised a total of $1565.00 for Hospice which will be handed to Hospice special events coordinator Jennifer Martin on Monday the 7th. I want to thank RI Comicon for giving us the space and I want to thank all the people who volunteered and joined me to make this weekend memorable. You have brought Honor to your Family and to the EMPIRE!!! Qapla’!!!
