The Classic, or Original Series, Klingon uniform is often the easiest to start off with. It’s made of these basic components:
- Black Turtleneck long sleeve shirt
- Gold or silver vest/waistcoat
- Black pants/trousers
- Black shin high, or higher, boots
- Black belt with buckle
- A sash can be added, but is optional
The gold vest/waistcoat is often the hardest part to get for this uniform. Some people make their own using gold or silver fabric, some people find a gold or silver shirt and cut off the sleeves and widen the neck. However this is done, fabric that has a “sparkle” to it is often closer to the original design than a “flat” gold or silver.
For female warriors, there is also a more complex version of the uniform that can be seen in the image above, although the standard uniform is also very acceptable.
