I think part of the issue of this particular holster is that it is designed for a lightweight prop. Heavier construction is necessary for full weight weapons. I can help with that!

A couple of things here. First, the pictured steps are out of order (luckily they are numbered).
What kind of “plastic netting” is implied? The kind one would use for a screen door? Perhaps a link to a source?
Gluing is mentioned, but what kind of glue is recommended?
The entire assembly is glued? No sewing at all?

Buckram is the netting and the screen used holsters were also lined with black sticky back felt
